The Papillon Knickers are a nod to the little shorts my father wore back in the '50s and '60s. As a term of endearment, sometimes I’d call him Popillon. These French knickers are gathered at the waist with a comfortable elasticated drawstring and finished with raw-edge topstitch detailing. Wear them high up on the hips for a feminine feel or slung low for something a bit sportier—your choice! At the hem is an overlapping tulip silhouette that creates a sexy high slit at either side, finished with a sweet lettuce-edge. The wonderfully light hemp & organic cotton ribbed jersey fabric harkens back to the men’s classic undershirt. Pair with the Papillon Camisole to complete the set.
